connemara walking Tour
Connemara sits in the very west of Ireland in County Galway and has some of the most spectacular scenery in the country.
The coastline weaves in and out along the Wild Atlantic Way, with attractive small fishing villages such as Roundstone, Clifden and Leenaun.
The landscape is exceptionally beautiful, with many freshwater lakes surrounded by steep mountains including The Maumturks, and the Twelve Bens, the two most prominent mountain ranges in the area. Connemara National Park covers 2,000 hectares of scenic mountains, bogs and woodlands and was established in 1980.
