CHEF DE PARTIE & COMMIS CHEF
GROSS SALARY: €25300 to €30800 per year depending on experience
NET SALARY: €1820 to €2140 Net per month (Estimated only)
ACCOMMODATION: Free accommodation for 5 days. After the 5 days the
accommodation is available for 1 MONTH at €20 per night.
HOURS PER WEEK: 39 hours per week average with 2 days off per week
OVERTIME PAY: Per hour rate will be applied to overtime hours
BENEFITS: PRSI / Pension benefits

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Practical 4/5-Star Hotel experience at Chef de Partie level, ideally 3+ years, preparing food for restaurant (á la carte), bar and breakfast outlets
- Displaying an obvious, genuine passion for producing high quality food
- Have excellent standards and attention to detail in food preparation, presentation and taste
- Possessing an ability to work in a fast paced environment, on your own and as part of ateam
- A keenness to make a difference, bringing your ideas forward to the Executive Team
- A willingness to demonstrate flair, creativity and skill in the Kitchen
- Have a HACCP or food safety qualification
- An ability to multitask in a fast-paced and, at times, high-volume, Kitchen environment and being ready to work collaboratively
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To work in our Kitchens preparing food in accordance with our Banqueting, Restaurant,Bar and Breakfast menus
- Demonstrate a tangible appetite for learning, showing interest in the work you’re doing and what is going on around you
- Show innovation in food preparation and cooking techniques when the appropriate opportunities arise
- In conjunction with the Executive Team, to ensure the consistent, smooth running of food service
- To maintain a high level of food quality, endeavoring to exceed our guests’ expectations with every dish
- To assist/mentor Commis Chefs if/as required
- Assist in ensuring effective stock control and ongoing cost management
- Ensure that cleanliness and food safety is prioritized at all times (effective HACCP management)
- To work early and afternoon/evening shifts covering 5 days over 7, Monday to Sunday service requirements
